rooms were too small to fit the purpose we were a family of 4 and were given too small room and there was hardly any room to walk. at the time of booking i confirm the age of my children and i was given family room but when i checked in it was no way near the family room.

Positive Very welcoming staff We had massages from the spa and we'll being center nadeera was very professional and so amazing that er booked another the following day. The jacuzzi was very pleasant only thing to make it better would be for some halal options

Amazing customer service - perfect upgrade We enjoyed our stay and extended for one night more. The night manager "Mayur" was very kind and gave us for the waiting time at the check-in free drinks and an upgrade for the lighthouse suite. All the staff members were attentive.

Pleasant stay!!!! With Ups and Downs We never been to such hotel where humans really care for their guest. We have been staying more than 3 years with each BW Properties. but the staff of this property are from mixed cultural. First finding the hotel was a task as we couldn't be able to find a sign of hotel, anyhow we reached. Receptionist was welcoming. We had nice room and comfy bed. Great location and the bonus of being able to drop off bags right near reception and get a free parking permit. There is only one lift for the entire hotel, but checked in into our room. But later that rainy started and small leak in our room but Night staff Mayur rescued us out of that room, and transferred to other one. We came down later on for smoke, had a chat with Mayur. we didn't except a man with full of knowledge, he was loyal to the hotel, we offered him to work with us, he declined. I loved my overall stay at this hotel, but all staff are helpful and kind in nature, After having wonderful experience either in good or bad sense was good. Sure will visit and hope will meet Mayur again...xx

Worst breakfast experience ever. Had to ask three times for tea,when it arrived it was undrinkable,probably because the water was not hot enough.The warm buffet wasn’t hot enough,the bacon greasy and rubbery.The staff were busy cleaning tables ,it wasn’t busy and there were plenty of tables available,but didn’t restock the buffet, no grilled tomatoes, smoothie jug empty and remained so, total incompetence. If I stayed here again I would walk the two minutes to the Premier Inn for a cheap and better breakfast

Fabulous restaurant - shame about the reservation “glitch” We were unlucky as we arrived just after a large party had booked in. Reception staff were under pressure. We explained that we had made a bid for a room upgrade and we were informed that we had been successful. When we showed this confirmation of the upgrade to Gary at reception, he informed us that there had been a “glitch” in the system and we were unable to receive the upgrade. My husband showed Gary the confirmation email, but he just repeated that there had been a glitch in the system! I was left feeling rather second rate as the large group of very attractive youngsters in front of us seemed to have been more successful? Gary - after some encouragement from us, offered us a double room “for no extra charge” and we accepted. When we reached the room, we were disappointed. The bed was a small double and in fact we would have been better with the original twin room. The double was in one of “attic” rooms and as such, was only accessible from one side due to the angle or the wall! Not happy. At check out Mayer - I think his name was - started by trying to charge us for the upgrade. We explained and he was firstly confused (we showed him the upgrade confirmation) and then angry that we had been told there was a “glitch” he was very apologetic, said he didn’t understand and apologised some more. On a separate note, we ate in MPW’s restaurant where Belinda was fantastic and the food was utterly delicious. Congratulations to all.

Excellent stay Staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and the food was amazing. The only negative was that the bed was slightly uncomfortable but it wasn’t a huge issue and didn’t outweigh the many positives of the stay.

Amazing location and very helpful staff The hotel is in an amazing location. We had multiple rooms which varied from old to new. All were clean and welcoming. A special thank you to Rughit Patel at reception who handled a confusing situation for us with great compassion and understanding. His attitude was professional and appreciated.

Nice stay with great customer service! This was a pre-cruise stay for us out of the Dover cruise terminal. We went with another couple and had two different types of rooms. One faced the water and the other looked at the street out back. The ocean facing room was much larger with a big bathroom and a floor that sloped down at an angle. The one that faced the back had a tiny bathroom and shower, but they were both updated and clean. Beds were comfortable. Check in and out was easy. This is a historic hotel that has had a face lift. Bathrooms have been updated and new carpet in the rooms. There is only one elevator which you had to wait for and was smaller. We like to walk so we used the stairs a lot. It is my understanding that being a historic hotel, they had to petition and then finally got approval to put in another set of elevators. So at some time in the future there might be more elevators. The bottom floor had a restaurant and we had the breakfast buffet which was wonderful with many choices and great service. Next door is a Coffee house. The reason for the great ranking was the service. We unfortunately had our air conditioning go out on the second floor. They were unable to repair the a/c with in house help, and had to have someone come in the next day with the part to complete the repair. Mr. Patel at the front desk actually went home and grabbed his own personal fan and then went to his friend's house and grabbed their fan so that we could open our windows and get air circulation. THANK YOU! We also had good service from another lady at the desk with information on transportation and calling us a cab. As a side note, there is a walking trail along the beach out front if you'd like a stroll. We walked to the lighthouse at the "White Cliffs of Dover" from the hotel. That trail has beautiful views. It is an uphill climb to the Dover Castle, so we took a cab up the hill but walked back down. 🙂
