The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom, Rohitha Bogollagama, was quick to pay tribute to the Dover Marina Hotel & Spa after joining guests for the glittering unveiling of a new range of spirits at the weekend.
After gracing the hotel with his presence at the UK launch of three VA Distilleries offerings – king coconut vodka and two styles of arrack – the High Commissioner enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep at the hotel followed by a visit to the gym the next morning.
Standing on the “historic balcony” of the hotel and taking in the amazing view of the seafront, he said the hotel was “uniquely set with its outstanding character and features” and said it ranked amongst the world’s most prestigious heritage hotels.
